Louisville Has a New Baseball Team!

From the Louisville Courier-Journal, April 14, 1865

The Louisville Base-ball Club has been organized with the following officers: Alex. G. Booth, President; David L. Fullerton, Vice-President; Ben. L. McDougall, Secretary; Archie Quarrier, Treasurer; Thomas J. Wood, Theodore Tracy, and John Green, Directors. The club will begin their games during the coming week, near the grounds of the old Phoenix Club, on the Park Barracks road.
