Remembering Private Michael Leary, Company A of the Fifteenth Kentucky

Private Michael Leary was born in Ireland. At his enlistment, he was an eighteen-year-old farmer, 5’5 ½”, with a light complexion, blue eyes and light hair. Private Leary was killed at the Battle of Stones River, December 31, 1862 and is buried In Section M, Grave 252, of the National Cemetery in Murfreesboro.
