Another New Ballclub in Louisville

From the Louisville Daily Courier, August 28, 1866

New Base-Ball Club. – Base-ball seems to be all the rage. Another club was formed yesterday up town, in the neighborhood of Hancock and Main streets, to be known as the Ashland club. The following is a list of the officers: President T.B. Hays; Vice-President, J. H. Quest; Secretary, Chas. White; Treasurer, W. C. Irvin; Directors, Messrs. John D. Johnson, G. N. Jackson, and E.W. Hays.
