Maybe Baseball is Healthy After All (1866)

Base-ball – This admirable and healthy sport will be re-inaugurated by the Louisville Base-ball Club at their extensive grounds this afternoon at 3 ½ o’clock. Pitch in, young gentlemen. The exercise will strengthen both the muscular and intellectual man.
