From the Louisville Courier-Journal, September 16, 1858
Theater – This evening Shakspeare’s beautiful comedy, “Much Ado About Nothing,” will be performed with Mr. Murdoch as Benedict, and Mrs. Baker as Beatrice; to be followed by the farce “A Loan of a Lover.” The superb performances of Mr. M. should not be overlooked by the admirers of high dramatic art.
