The Louisville Unions Win Again

From the Louisville Courier-Journal, May 18, 1908

The Louisville Unions defeated the strong Stars, of Columbus, Ind., by the score of 11 to 2 yesterday. This is the Union’s ninth straight victory this season. The Stars are a fast team, but they could not withstand the hitting of the Unions, who made sixteen hits. The feature of the game was the pitching of Fonce and two squeeze plays by the Unions.
