From the Louisville Courier-Journal, November 1, 1862
Theatre – Mr. Wilkes Booth will this evening repeat his truly powerful personation of the Duke of Gloster (sic) in Shakespeare’s tragedy of Richard III. Its former performances have elicited the most enthusiastic applause, and we cannot doubt that a large audience will witness it to-night. The Irish Tutor, which Alfred Stewart as Dr. O’Toole, will close the bill.
